ABOUT DEBBIE JOHNSON
Thirty-two years of experience in the veterinary profession, both in private practice and in shelter medicine. Twenty-two years in nonprofit sheltering, including ten years as a shelter veterinarian and two years as Director of Operations in an open admission shelter handling over animals a year, as well as providing shelter consulting and mentoring at a national level. Provided shelter consultations and support in Ohio and Florida. Recently served as Medical Director at a managed-admission nonprofit shelter serving nearly animals each year. In April 2022 we opened the area’s first non-profit full service veterinary clinic in a resource-challenged area of our community, helping to keep pets in their hones with the families that love them.
