ABOUT DEBBIE HETHERINGTON

Experienced scientific specialist with 10 years of experience in the medical communications industry.I received my PhD in 2014 from the Centre for Gene Regulation and Expression, University of Dundee, UK, for studies into the regulation of DNA replication factories in normal and cancer cells. Since transitioning into the medical communications field, I\'ve gained a wealth of experience in planning and executing commercial and medical tactics across a range of therapy areas, including rare and common diseases, both globally and within growth markets, across the entire spectrum of health. My expertise includes strategic brand planning, medical training, symposia, standalone meetings and advisory boards. In my role, I\'m dedicated to supporting clients achieve their strategic goals, while creating high-quality, impactful scientific content for various audiences.I\'m passionate about educating disease communities, in particular rare disease communities, both inside and outside of work, brainstorming new and innovative ideas with the team, building strong relationships with clients and experts in the field, and innovative approaches to care, including genetic medicine.
