ABOUT DEBBIE BUTNER

Debbie is a Product Manager within the 5G Acceleration - Portfolio Commercialization and Operations team. This team supports the strategy development, Go To Market and Lifecycle Management activities made possible by 5G technology combined with Verizon\'s PWN and NHN solutions. She is responsible for ensuring the end to end strategy and ecosystem enablement ensure efficient and scalable commerce optimized for internal and external customers. She works closely with Marketing, Finance, Business Operations, GTS, Revenue Assurance, Contract Management and Legal to achieve these goals.Debbie joined Verizon Business in 2011 and served as Senior Manager for Complex Delivery within the Global Project Management organization before moving to the Consumer Group in 2021 to stand up the Testing Control Tower function within the CX/UAT organization. In late 2022, she moved back to the Business group and joined the 5G Acceleration group as project and operations manager within the SI Joint Go To Market team. Prior to joining Verizon, she worked in various industries for 20+ years primarily with an IT Project Management focus. Debbie has a passion for engaging in fast paced, often chaotic, change environments to solve business problems and implement solutions. She accomplishes this by building strong, creative teams, both internal and external, and puts processes and structure in place to support the transition and transformation of services. She is a recognized people leader with the ability to coach and develop highly productive and dedicated teams.Debbie holds an MBA from Wake Forest University and a BS in Economics from UNC-Greensboro. She is a proponent of lifelong learning and seeks to expand her skills by exploring new learning opportunities. Her certifications include PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM and ITIL Expert, v3. She is a 2019 graduate of the VBG WOW program.
