More than twenty-five years of experience in safety and risk management in labor-intensive environments including Integrated Steel Plant (ISP), Construction, onshore drilling rigs, oil refineries and petrochemical plants.Extensive experience of OHSMS, Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, Incident Investigation and Trend Analysis, OHS Budgeting, Auditing, Statutory Compliance, Project / Contractor OHS Management, PHSER, HSEIA, Disability Management/ Return to Work and dispute resolution on matters related to Workplace Safety Insurance Board (WSIB) appeals, Process Safety, Integrity Management. Also spent time in BBS (Behavior based safety) Research, studying the effects of employee driven safety systems. Published papers in international safety conferences on BBS implementation.
