Background: Essentially a Manufacturing Pharmacist (OSD background) with an MBA in Finance having over 30 years of Formulation Manufacturing experience. Out of these, 8 have been a very successful stint as a Site Head for a huge and complex CMO formulations (Sterile and Non-Sterile) Site with many big Pharma Customers, supplying primarily to US, Europe and Japan. Led a turnaround journey for the Site where revenue and profitability numbers quadrupled in 5 years. Have got leadership role experience for leading Global Business /Strategic Projects encompassing multiple geographies and culture. Now heading the Formulations Operations for India, spanning across three sites, one of which is an R&D Centre.Considered amongst the better leaders within the organization and shaped numerous business negotiations with many big Pharma Customers. Fostered a cultural change shaping bright contours of a vibrant future for the Business through strategic initiatives. Have got a complete techno-commercial understanding of operations being responsible for the P&L for the Division and can catalyze both Regulatory Compliance and Financial / Strategic growth for any Company.Area of Expertise:a) Commissioning of Pharma Projects, both Green field and Brownfield.
