As a key member of the leadership team, Debananda drives strategic sourcing and supply chain excellence for the Emission Control Business.Key Responsibilities- Led Strategic Sourcing & SCM Team for RECD (Retrofit Emission Control Devices), Piping, Structures, Electrical & Electronics components, and Control Panels- Executed a 100% outsourcing model through vendor development and qualification across critical categories- Targeted 10% YoY cost savings via strategic sourcing, localization, and value engineering in collaboration with cross-functional teams (Engineering & Manufacturing)- Institutionalized Should-Cost Modeling as a core procurement capability across all categories- Directed contract negotiations, securing favorable terms in pricing, payment, quality, and delivery- Finalized commercials and released POs based on Zero-Based Costing methodology- Implemented supplier performance scorecards and continuous improvement programs- Aligned sourcing strategies with business goals through close coordination with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Finance- Ensured timely procurement of Capex and project items within budget and aligned with revenue targets- Designed and implemented stocking policies to maintain optimum inventory and improve Inventory Turnover Ratio (ITR)- Oversaw cash flow management for the department to support financial agility and operational efficiency
