Debaki Sarkar has more than 11 years of experience in the Pharma/Food-Beverage Industry, which includes her experience in the Big-pharma process/product development/Quality Management Systems. Debaki has over 7 years of experience in process/product development and 2 years of experience as a QC & QA Manager. She has first-hand experience in the development and implementation of Quality Assurance systems, 3rd party audits, FDA, food safety, ISO, and Kosher audits. In addition, over the years she has earned valuable experience in SAP, LMS, EDMQ, Trace Gains, and QMS systems, along with working closely with R&D from conception to scale up to the production of new products and processes. She is PCQI, ISO auditor, and HACCP certified.She has a BS/MS/M. Phil is in Biological Sciences/Biotechnology from St. John’s University, New York and currently pursuing her Doctorate in Technology Leadership in Biopharma from Purdue University, West Lafayette. Currently, she is working with Gusmer Enterprises Inc. as a Quality Manager. Her area of expertise is Quality Assurance, Team Management, Internal Food Safety, Quality Audit, Supplier Audit, Material/Process Hazard Analysis, Food Defense, and support R&D when required. Her previous work experience at Amgen as a process/product development for four years gave her very valuable insight and experience in the pharmaceutical cleaning validation program.
