About Debabrata Pal

I specialize in computer vision and machine learning, with 10 years of experience in vision-based research and automation in the Aerospace domain, as well as multimedia application development for Snapdragon chipsets. As a recognized, prolific inventor at Honeywell Aerospace, I\'ve filed 12 US patents and published several papers on the verification and validation of safety-critical aerospace systems. Presently, I\'m a member of the Qualcomm Camera R&D Team, developing low-power models, multimodal applications for smart glasses, and optimizing the camera ISP pipeline. My Ph.D. research at IIT Bombay was focused on few-shot meta-learning, domain adaptation, and open-set recognition of the remotely sensed landcover images.
