Update: Certified Medical Technologist as Generalist via AMT. Graduated Wilmington University Master\'s Science Management (MSM) in Healthcare Administration I am an ASCP registered Medical Laboratory Technician with a Bachelor\'s degree in Psychology from Cleveland State University, recently became ASCP registered Medical Laboratory Scientist in Hematology, and AHIMA certified Registered Health Information Technician. I love science and enjoy working as a Medical Technologist. It\'s more than dealing with a \"blood and other smelly body fluids\" that specimen came from a person and that person\'s health and in some circumstances life is in the hands of laboratory professionals if you do not have the knowledge of Medical Laboratory Science. pride, and integrity to conduct and communicate as a MLS to other healthcare professionals may end up in misdiagnosis or mistreatment of a patient which affect the quality of care of that patient. In other words, I treat every specimen as an extended family member no matter who they are as a person, nice, mean, young, old, and what materials they do or do not have every life is special. My duty is to provide information to the best of my ability to give doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals laboratory results they need to provide quality treatment to their patients.
