After my first year as a Kitchen Designer, the next 4 months as a Store Support Manager and then 6 months as an Assistant General Manager, I was given the opportunity to run the Reading showroom, which included Kitchens, Bedrooms and Freestanding showrooms. This promotion made me the youngest General Manager in the entire company at the time. My store was one of the smallest in the country, with one of the lowest footfalls in the company and was also one of the lowest FTE\'s in the company yet it outperformed stores of twice its size.I have now been given the keys to The UK’s Largest Kitchen showroom and the Flagship store in the Wren estate.I now lead a team of 30+ people, comprising of 2 Assistant Managers, 2 Receptionists, 23 Kitchen Designers 3 Surveyors and 3 Information Advisors.I run my store like I would my own business; Dedication and presentation is key. Wren is extremely fast-paced. I’ve learnt to really drive the sales force by making fast, business critical decisions, reacting to trends in KPI\'s and implementing change to ensure that every oppurtunity to perform is utilised. I enjoy getting involved in every aspect of the process from generating leads, to demonstrating the product, through to negotiating and closing the sale with my team. I believe I have developed the most versatile, dynamic and enthusiastic sales team in the entire company and have had many staff over the years promoted from my showroom into key roles in our Head Office.
