I am currently Geoscience Manager for Atlantic Shores Offshore Wind, a joint venture between EDF Renewables and Shell New Energies. This exciting JV is well positioned to meet the growing demands of renewable energy targets in multiple U.S. East Coast markets. I’m leading the JV through the geoscience domain, providing the technical leadership necessary to deliver integrated geoscience deliverables that satisfy applicable guidelines and regulatory requirements. In parallel, I’m interfacing with technical work streams supporting engineering, installation, operations and decommissioning activities. This role is perfectly aligned with my career experiences and interests. As part of Shell’s New Energies business, I also support Shell’s global renewable energy ambitions as part of the Offshore Wind Technical Team. I am proud to be an integral part of enthusiastic groups of individuals, in both organizations, and inspired to continue delivering high-profile frontier projects. I am a recognized expert in marine shallow hazards and offshore development surveys with more than 20 years designing, executing and delivering complex geophysical and geotechnical projects in technically and logistically challenging offshore environments. I have managed various marine survey operations, including shallow hazards, seafloor mapping, seep surveys, navigational positioning services and geotechnical investigations for exploration and development projects around the world. I have achieved success in my field by anticipating industry technical requirements, interpreting regulatory trends, and adopting innovative technologies. I am always looking to harness my skills in new and exciting ways.
