   In addition to my full time role at Amgen, I\'ve joined the board at Women\'s Economic Ventures to make an impact in my local community. Women\'s Economic Ventures provides funding and advisory services to local entrepreneurs. In the last five years, WEV has made more than $2.5 million in loans, provided training and advisory services to more than people, and assisted more than 2,400 businesses, supporting an estimated 7,200 jobs. Learn more here I appreciate the support from Amgen to take on this role, support the local economic ecosystem in Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties, and get back to my roots in entrepreneurship.
