About Deanna Fleming
I started my career as a registered nurse on the progressive care unit after finishing my degree at UMass Amherst. I transitioned to being a labor and delivery nurse. After a thoughtful consideration and reflection I decided on a career change where I began my journey at NC State in Mechanical Engineering. My goal is to bring my unique skills and experiences to an engineering role in the space industry. My interests outside of engineering include native plant and vegetable gardening, hiking, yoga, ballroom dancing and reading.
