ABOUT DEANNA JOHNSON

I am a 1st year Master of Public Health student at Morehouse School of Medicine committed to advancing equitable clinical research and improving health outcomes in underrepresented communities. My passion lies in strengthening diversity in clinical trials and ensuring that scientific discoveries benefit all populations especially those historically overlooked in research.I bring direct experience supporting clinical studies across oncology and rare disease portfolios. At Johnson & Johnson, I contributed to the execution of Phase oncology trials through protocol development, trial tracking tools, and diversity strategy integration. Previously at United Therapeutics, I worked hands-on with eTMF systems—including Phlex eTMF, Veeva Vault Clinical, IQVIA, and CTMS—conducting quality checks for over 300+ clinical sites and coordinating SIV shipments for global studies. I am also GCP-certified with a strong foundation in inspection readiness and clinical trial operations.Beyond my academic and clinical research experience, I have been honored with the White House Presidential Service Award for three consecutive years for my work leading health education initiatives and mentoring students nationwide. These experiences strengthened my belief that research and community engagement must go hand in hand to create meaningful change. My goal is to continue growing within clinical operations and ultimately become a Clinical Research Associate within the next few years, where I can help ensure high-quality, patient-centered studies that advance medicine and expand representation in research.I’m always open to connecting with professionals and teams who share my passion for improving healthcare through impactful, inclusive research.
