About Deanna Mettler

I am the CFO for Battle Green. I am responsible for all the facets of finance and accounting. Prior to this role, I was the Chief Financial Officer of Equifax Canada. I was responsible for annual budgets and monthly forecasts, cash flow forecasting and the annual strategic operating plan. I was previously the European Financial Controller with responsibilities for accounting, audit, tax, treasury, and client cash processing for our largest subsidiary. I began my career in public accounting and specialized in audit of retail dealership groups. I transitioned to the financial services industry and was the Financial Reporting Manager for a publicly traded company. I spent the next several years working in technology start-ups prior to moving to the United Kingdom. I am a Certified Public Accountant and have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. I am a Prosci Certified Change Management Practitioner. Professionally, I am interested in diversity and inclusion initiatives as well as equality and financial empowerment. I currently serve as the Treasurer on the Board for Rocky Mountain MicroFinance Institute (RMMFI). Previous to RMMFI, I was one of eight women who started a grassroots networking group for Women in Business across UK & Ireland. I also had the honor of speaking in front of over 700 women at an International Women’s Leadership Conference and was active in the Indianapolis Mentoring Women’s Network. I have also served on the Indianapolis Zoo Associate Council and was the Treasurer for the Indiana United Methodist Children’s Home. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, experiencing different cultures, and trying new cuisines. I am known for my love of outdoors which includes hiking the English countryside, completing three mini-triathlons and completing a ninety-mile hike from Portugal to Spain.
