True Star has taken an innovative approach to improving the lives of youth with on-the-job training programs enabling students to learn, create, and work for a digital media company. True Star provides digital work based learning experiences to low-income youth so they can experience work culture, like working on a team and towards deadlines, have an opportunity to develop skills that transfer to work, and receive feedback and mentoring on the job.
