The Land Conservation Foundation (LCF) was founded in 2003 to conserve the river corridors of East-Central Illinois so as to protect the recharge areas for the Mahomet Aquifer, sustain clean drinking water, and preserve wildlife habitat. LCF focuses on the Sangamon River corridor and currently owns three parcels of land. LCF is \"in the perpetuity\" business, intending to restore, connect, and protect river lands forever. As Executive Director, I will assist LCF in achieving its mission.
