   3D Medical Battalion, Bravo Surgical Company / Kaneohe Bay, HIMar 2022 – Mar 2025In support of the Marine Corps Mission to increase readiness, assisted and conducted physical exams and women’s wellness exams for active duty Sailors and Marines, phlebotomy, and administered vaccines. Deployed with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit onboard the USS America. Skill sustainment with Tripler Army Medical Center doing rotations with General Surgery, ICU, ER, and Anesthesia department. Started IVs, assisted in intubations and the OR, provided wound care, performed minor procedures such as lipoma/cyst removals, applied sutures, and inserted Foley catheters.Walter Reed National Military Medical Center / Bethesda, MDDec 2019 – Dec 2021Orthopedic Technician. Work Center Supervisor for the Total Joint and Oncology Services. Assisted Orthopedic providers in applying casts and splints, assisting in clinic operations, placing X-ray orders, drawing up injection medications, removing sutures and staples, assisting in wound vac and orthotic applications, and assisting the hand surgeons in minor surgical procedures such as carpal tunnel releases, pin removals, foreign body removals and biopsies, and amputations.
