I am……designing with a purpose. Whether the output needed is a slide deck, email communication, social media campaign, website, infographic, tradeshow booth, etc, I transform data, content, ideas into original designs to deliver high quality, effective messages and visualizations. Building from what we want our audience to know, feel, and do as we form a connection through our storytelling.…adding sustainability to the conversation. Sustainability is a way of thinking that can connect to any topic. With a sustainability mindset, I leverage six core competencies including 1) systems thinking - let’s connect the dots and seek to understand the dynamics, 2) futures thinking - where are we now? how did we get here? where do we want to go? how do we get there, 3) values thinking - different people have different values, which isn’t inherently good or bad but can be influential, 4) strategic thinking - how do our actions impact our ability to achieve the vision, 5) collaboration - teamwork makes the dream work, 6) problem-solving - tackling the world’s toughest challenges takes creativity and grit. …herding cats. Yes, you read that right. And thanks to my amazing colleagues, I have the Champion Cat Herder Award trophy to prove it. I am proud of what we have accomplished together and honored to be recognized by my team for my leadership, communication, and organization skills.
