   I was recruited to the organization to manage all non-gaming operations for the full-service, 154-room hotel. In this role, I am accountable for full operations strategy and execution of the properties hotel operations, as well as F&B, on-site facilities, 4 restaurants, a VIP lounge, 2 kitchens, transportation, laundry, gift shop, and a team dining room. SELECTED ACHIEVEMENTS: Delivered significant improvements to operating margins by controlling OPEX and operating costs, including cost per occupied room and labor expenses. Increased employee engagement by 8% through focusing on communication, training, and development to establish a positive culture. Established clear benchmarks and KPIs to improve employee skill sets and performance, which directly reduced employee turnover from 80% to 30%. Achieved the highest occupancy rate for the hotel in more than 4 years; delivered significant increases YOY, growing from 52% to 80% in 2018. Created a $150K new revenue stream by implementing a new Hotel Sales and Catering Manager position.
