About Deane Wichelt

I am a self-starter with excellent interpersonal and technical communication skills with experience in interdisciplinary engineering fields. I have worked on both the mechanical and systems/software side of an automotive company and have focused my education on being a uniquely well-rounded engineer. My graduate work has and will focus on a wide variety of fields from mechanical to electrical, systems, and computer engineering. I am also an excellent team player. This stems from being a scholarship collegiate athlete on diverse track and cross-country teams. While being a multi-sport college athlete, I was still able to post high academic marks throughout my undergraduate work. I pride myself on being able to form relationships and communicate with anyone. My amazing experience on college athletic teams and living in Wales for three years has enabled this skill. I continuously seek improvement for my work through analysis and feedback. Most importantly I am living out my childhood dream of engineering and inventing functions for the next generation of mobility.
