ABOUT DEAN GERALD
I was born and raised in Hartsville, South Carolina and grew up as a member of the Door of Hope Christian Church under the leadership of Bishop Blue in Marion, SC. I graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2024 with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. While at USC, I was initiated into the Theta Nu Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. in the Spring of 2022, where I held three committee chair positions, demonstrating my commitment to leadership and service.I currently work as a Mechanical Project Manager and Pressure Vessel/Tank Coordinator at Smurfit Westrock with interest in pursuing my MBA in the near future, to assist in the success of a business. In addition to my professional career, I\'m actively involved in ministry at The Meeting Place Church Of Greater Columbia under the leadership of Bishop Eric J. Freeman, Ph.D, where I serve on the AV Media Team.I am a passionate speaker dedicated to encouraging and equipping the youth. I draw on my faith, education, and leadership experience to inspire young people to reach their full potential.
