The Service Design Studio is the nation’s first-ever municipal team dedicated to improving services for low-income residents. We use creative design and human-centered frameworks to make city services more accessible, equitable, and dignified. As NYC govt employees, we partner with city administrators and work to shift power to frontline staff and communities with lived experience.As the Assistant Director of Visual Design, I work to:🟢 Offer graphic design guidance and branding supervision to any applicable projects for the Studio, other teams within the Office for Economic Opportunity, and partner Mayoral Offices (as needed)🟢 Execute and delegate graphic design requests to ensure they meet the Studio\'s accessibility and design standards🟢 Strategize team’s operations with the Studio Director; supervise and upskill Design Fellows
