Supporter Liaison Officer @Doncaster Rovers Fc
For more than eleven years I have been the bridge between Doncaster Rovers and its supporters, making matchdays welcoming, safe, and enjoyable for everyone. In 2023 I was honoured as SLO of the Year for my work improving the supporter experience. I regularly attend all supporters’ club meetings both as an official representative of the club and as a fellow fan, building trust and open communication between the club and its community. I work closely with visiting supporters to help them get the most out of their trip to Eco-Power Stadium and create clear travel guides for Rovers fans heading to away fixtures.I helped launch the Women’s Supporters Group to make matchdays more inviting for female fans and produced the first-time fans and visiting fans video guide to help newcomers feel confident and included. I also designed and introduced dementia lanyards to create a safer, more supportive environment for people living with dementia, their families, and carers, and I continue to work with the club’s foundation on dementia-friendly initiatives such as cafés and awareness events. Through all these efforts, I have strengthened the bond between the club and its supporters and shown my commitment to making football inclusive for everyone.
