I lead a growing, currently 5-attorney firm in Dallas. All attorneys in my office, except one, devote all their time to civil rights cases. Our cases usually involve representing the family of someone who died in a jail from neglect, or as a result of a police encounter. We spend the time and financial resources necessary to prepare every case for trial, and for qualified immunity interlocutory appeals common in this practice area. Unlike some firms, we are unafraid to try cases. Our goal is to obtain the maximum value for our clients, whether through settlement or trial. I and other lawyers at my firm find that aggressively litigating cases, ethically and professionally, provides the best results for our clients.
