Over 10 years working for one of the fastest growing businesses in the UK has given me so much visibility of and experience in creating and nurturing great teams. My focus these days is on leading a highly successful marketing department in one of the most highly regulated and competitive marketplaces, creating strategy, campaigns and most importantly, motivated teams. Our marketing department oversee everything from brand and commercial strategy right the way through to ATL and BTL campaign ideation, creation and delivery. We work with a mixture of amazing in house departments and best in class agencies to create a brand and campaigns that help us maintain our position at the top of the table. My personal motivation is to create an environment “at work” that’s allows our people to be themselves and ultimately, giving us their best self every day. Creating an inclusive and motivated team is key to my own personal happiness at work but it’s also the basis on which I’ve been able to grow and develop during my time at SBG.
