   Dean Joaquin leads the Firm’s tax practice in the PE Portfolio Company capability group. He is responsible for the oversight, operations and results of the tax practice firmwide in the PE Port Cos capability. Dean speaks regularly on tax topics and is a sought-out thought leader on tax issues that affect middle market companies. Dean has over thirty years of experience in providing federal and state consulting and compliance services to middle market companies in a variety of industries. He works with companies to implement tax minimization strategies that provide organizational growth and effectiveness while building value for stakeholders. He focuses on corporate taxation and multi-state taxation issues across a wide range of industries including consumer products, wholesale distribution and professional services. Dean also advises clients on the tax aspects of the tax reform legislation, business acquisitions, mergers and dispositions. In addition, he represents clients before tax administrative agencies in the audit and protest process.
