Appointed to the leadership team of Asda’s Programme to separate from Wal-Mart which requires the replacement or remediation of 700 systems with a total budget of c£750m, initially to set up the governance standards and structure of the programme, before moving into a Programme Director role responsible all aspects of the Supply Chain deliverables on the programmeBuilt the structure and governance to deliver the overall programme in the most efficient way, balancing the need for governance up to Exec level and pace of decision making.Lead a team of 180 colleagues via a matrix organisation spanning technology, business, change, implementation, training, and vendor partners.Delivered the first minor and major go lives in the overall divestiture programme, including delivery of the first three depot conversions in less than 18 months. Championed the need for colleague wellbeing to be as high on our programme agenda as delivery.Regularly required to present at Exec level to give progress updates and propose mitigation plans for near- and longer-term risks.
