Responsible for identifying deficiencies in programs and practices and developing strategies to correct those deficiencies. Previously, I held various Safety and Environmental roles at Genesis Energy. Genesis has a diverse asset profile that provided unique challenges and opportunities to continuously learn and grow. I was responsible for conceptualizing, developing and assigning fully interactive, business unit specific, computer-based training across multiple training groups. Provided technical guidance for continued development of company\'s incident reporting data base program. Served as the onshore contractor safety management representative and ISNetworld expert. As the HSSE Regional Manager I was responsible for day to day HSSE management of 200 miles of Texas Pipeline Assets and associated facilities. Regional HSSE contact for company\'s Chemical Services Division consisting of five sites across four states. I had no workplace injuries or loss time accidents recorded in the operating area over responsible period. Before Genesis, I worked six years in environmental consulting, traveling around the country helping clients with their diverse project needs in a fast paced and results oriented setting. Being a contractor afforded me the flexibility and project management exposure often reserved for a professional with 20+ years\' experience. I have taken those skills and lessons learned to the private sector where my \"worst case\" scenario exposure allows me to plan for situations before they arise and resolve any issues that need attention. When not working, I enjoy spending time with my wife, dogs and in my workshop with a project on the work bench and the music a little too loud.
