ABOUT DEAN COOK
Previously studied horticulture and within that industry worked for Harrogate Council, Harewood House, and YWP. Having moved to Taiwan for around 10 years, I studied ESL and worked as an ESL teacher. Within the education industry I worked at Dongshan High School, Yuteh International School, Wesley Girl\'s School, and Xinmin Elementary School. After returning to England, I worked at Yorkshire Wildlife Park as a groundsman before restarted my journey in the education industry as a TA at Harrison College. Although my role is TA, I am a qualified further education teacher, and will often lead classes, for example outdoor forest school projects. Within Harrison College I TA, drive the mini buses, and lead the forest school projects. On the forest school projects students will come with me to Saltersgate Primary and Blyth Bowling Green to do a variety of horticulture and maintenance projects.
