As the Senior Technical Director of Langan (UK), I lead the Civil Engineering function of the practice. Covering all elements of design excellence, business development and innovation. My passion for design within the built environment and my ability to creatively challenge a brief and drive innovative solutions is reflected in my team, and we provide the best and optimum design for clients and architects.My background consists of consulting as well as working from the client’s side, which gives me an excellent insight into the built environment. Currently, I have 20 years’ experience, including taking responsibility for major international projects and the successful delivery of complex, multidisciplinary projects.I have been lucky enough to work on high-profile projects across the world, including The Shard, the Millennium Bridge and the Kings Cross Station development in London as well as the Emirates Tower in Dubai.
