About Dean Allsopp

Dean Allsopp (he/him) is a Public Policy Manager at Amazon, leading government relations and community engagement across more than ten states. He manages large-scale community investment portfolios, builds relationships with federal, state, and local officials, and develops programs that establish Amazon as a community champion in the markets where it operates. His expertise spans AI policy, privacy, data centers, and e-commerce. Before Amazon, Dean served as Director of External Affairs for Seattle City Council President Debora Juarez, where he stewarded major community investments and authored landmark housing legislation protecting 140 families from displacement. He holds an MPA from the University of Washington\'s Evans School and is a returned Peace Corps Volunteer. He serves on the boards of Leadership Tomorrow and the Pacific Science Center.
