I am a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) and Project Manager (PMP) with more than 14 years\' work experience. I have experience working in both civil engineering and mining environments and am comfortable working on individual assignments or as part of a team.My most recent experience involves working for Agnico Eagle Mines as a senior civil projects engineering lead at their Detour Lake Mine site in northern Canada. Some of the projects include a $90M expansion of their accommodation complexes, the construction of a haul road underpass, and working on the UG mine expansion project.Prior to joining Agnico I worked for Nutrien as the Projects Engineering Manager, overseeing a portfolio of $180 for the year and managing a group of project managers, project engineers, project field coordinators and a construction supervisor in the completion of all Surface Capital projects at Nutrien\'s Rocanville site. Before stepping into the Engineering Manager role, I worked as a Senior Project Manager as part of Nutrien\'s Capital Projects Team. I managed both underground and surface projects with values ranging from $250k to $25M. In South Africa I worked for Exxaro Resources as a project manager on their Grootegeluk Mine. The mine operates the worlds largest coal beneficiation complex from a single open pit mine, and as a project manager I implemented several structural projects.I have extensive experience working as a civil engineer under difficult conditions in Angola on various projects for Aurecon, a consulting engineering company. My experience there include working on commercial housing projects, roads and bridges, as well as a large dam project.
