ABOUT JULIUS M. DE GROOT
The chance to create extraordinary results by pooling competencies and resources fascinates me. This led me to specialize in cooperations already during my bachelor studies. The final thesis concentrated on how the Alphabet Inc. aims to innovate disruptively through cooperations and M & As. In order to gain practical experience in the management of cooperations I first worked in a joint venture as an intern and later in the management of an interdisciplinary research cluster as a student assistant. My academic knowledge regarding cooperation got enhanced during my master\'s studies at RWTH, especially through the final thesis. My master thesis, in which a measure for data exchange in supply chain networks got developed, was part of the Cluster of Excellence (CoE)\"Internet of Production\". The measure gets currently utilized to assess data sharing activities in practice in the manufacturing industry by the CoE.
