About Daniel David
My technical journey has evolved from the foundations of Machine Learning and Deep Learning into the current frontier of agents and AI Engineering.Currently finishing my degree at Columbia University, I previously worked at Rhino Federated Computing as a Machine Learning Engineer (FDE) in the Customer Success Team. As the name tells, the focus is Federated Learning (FL), where we built production distributed systems that allow models to be trained on siloed data for different clients, which creates a huge impact in regulated fields. This professional background was an opportunity to learn from brilliant and experienced minds on how to build solutions to industry standards, which gave me a unique advantage back on campus. I was selected as the Course Assistant to launch the first-ever graduate-level Machine Learning Security course at Columbia.Today, I’m mostly trying to keep up with this hyper-changing era, focusing on finding novel opportunities and creating valuable impact while prioritizing reliability and security.
