About Dc Foster
As the Director of Vehicle Engineering, Manufacturing and Quality, I lead a team that works tirelessly to ensure that the Amazon Last Mile is the safest and most sustainable fleet on the planet. After 20 years of Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain leadership in the Defense Industry, I transitioned to apply these skills at Amazon to help build and scale solutions for customers and partners around the world. Over the 3+ years being with Amazon, I have found myself incredibly excited to shape the adoption of autonomous vehicles, accelerating the development of more efficient power sources and delivering these new capabilities in ways that are safer for humans and the environment.While technology is my passion, I know that none of these advancements happen without amazing people. That\'s why I am also deeply committed to the development others and creating safe spaces for people to be able to thrive at work and in the communities we live in.
