My first love is consulting. Like all of my predecessors at Segal, I continue to consult because it keeps me energized and connected to our clients and what’s important to them. I’ve had many roles throughout my career, but only one job: contributing to the success of our clients.Our founder impressed upon me when I joined the company almost 40 years ago that our work makes a difference—both for our clients and society at large. Why? Because at its heart, our business is about improving lives. This mission has inspired me throughout my career and makes me proud to have served Segal as its President and CEO from 2016 to 2025 and now to serve as the Chair of our Board of Directors. Our professionals are leaders in a wide range of consulting—actuarial, health benefits, human resources, investment, insurance brokerage, communications, and technology—and we’re all bound together by our shared commitment to improve the world around us.
