About Dan Bellia

Hey there, I’m Dan Bellia - software designer and design partner with 15 years of experience. From public safety to ecommerce to defense tech, I’ve had the chance to collaborate with a variety of amazing teams to ship some world-class software (and hardware) products. Currently, I’m a senior designer at Flock Safety where we research, design and build software + hardware to support and enhance public safety efforts across more than communities.While my experience and responsibilities have varied in size, scope, maturity and make-up, my design process has remained the same. I identify problems through rigorous research, leverage a less-is-more design philosophy and bring cross-functional stakeholders together to build the best features and products possible. I\'m currently located in Bend, OR USA, where I have been working in remote roles for the past 8+ years. When I\'m not jamming on design problems, I\'m usually spending time with my little family, riding snowboards or doing dangerous things on mountain
