ABOUT DAYNA SESSA

I’m Dayna Sessa, founder and CEO of Datanomy, where we use AI and big data to help healthcare systems transform fragmented data into meaningful insights that improve care delivery and bring patients back to the center of the system.I started my career as a biomedical engineer and management consultant, and for the past 15+ years I’ve focused on building scalable, tech-forward solutions that advance access, equity, and efficiency in healthcare.Along the way, I’ve advised organizations like the Clinton Foundation, City of New York, and the Center for Advancing Innovation, and served as the inaugural WENYC Ambassador to help more women launch and grow businesses. I’ve spoken internationally, was part of the NYS Health Trade Delegation to Africa and invited by the U.S. Department of State to lead capacity-building missions in Rome and Nairobi, focused on using data to build healthier communities. I’m also on the Fulbright Specialist Roster, supporting global partnerships in healthcare and innovation. As an adjunct professor at Rutgers School of Engineering, I teach design thinking and health innovation, and regularly speak on AI in healthcare, data strategy, startups, and using tech for social impact.I’m proud to be part of the Amplify Her Leadership Network, a community of women leading at the intersection of policy, innovation, and impact.Previously on the boards of Clinton Foundation 2030 and Friends of Mount Sinai, I continue to serve on the board of Porvenir, a nonprofit I co-founded focused on education equity.* Recognitions include the Tory Burch Foundation, Goldman Sachs Small Businesses, and Cartier Women’s Initiative (Top 10 U.S.)* Currently open to opportunities to help me learn and grow as a leader
