   Initially, developed overall conceptual target state architecture with documented linkages between strategic business objectives, business capabilities and IT architecture capabilities and characteristics. Worked with IT leadership, application teams and Business partners to successfully consolidate / retire / modernize almost all core systems over a 5 year period. An enterprise system and data integration architecture was implemented during this period that has helped align our asset hierarchy data with other key data domains and transactions. In addition, drove the process to greatly reduce our technical debt by standardizing over 120 categories of technology and IT tools / platforms, etc. This overall simplification effort maximized the value of our software licensing costs, made IT more nimble and better aligned to our skill sets. Drove thought leadership around our IT cloud strategy, timing and capabilities. Supported our cybersecurity team’s efforts which have become quite capable. Have been a key member of the Digital Business Optimization program to drive efficiencies and capabilities across our large operational workforce by leveraging mobile / web based apps, remote assist tools and analytics. These efforts are focused on optimizing work and providing increased situational awareness for supervisors with respect to field techs and real time status of field systems and equipment. A current focus area is emissions monitoring / quantifying / reporting and reduction efforts. Additional emphasis has been placed on edge computing / Industrial Internet of Things architecture and technologies in support of SCADA. Heavily involved in our enterprise data governance team and continual efforts to connect our data, increase the data quality and apply standard names / descriptions. Work within our New Energy Business Ventures team that is always looking for new business and IT technologies to leverage and potentially invest in.
