Crime:I deal with a broad spectrum of criminal cases including violent offences (eg GBH, public order), as well as cases involving theft, fraud, money laundering, and the supply of drugs. I am a CPS Level 3 Panel Advocate and I undertake work for both defence and prosecution. I am presently instructed as a led junior in an operation involving the prosecution of two tranches of defendants for conspiracy to supply class A drugs. Regulatory / Licensing / Inquests:I regularly act for the General Medical Council in cases concerning doctors\' fitness to practice, and have received instructions to defend professionals in proceedings involving the SRA, Social Work England and NMC. Within inquest proceedings I have acted for the probation service, local authorities as well as for NHS Trusts.I am instructed by local authorities and government bodies (including HMRC and the Home Office) in proceeds of crime and customs and excise matters. I have also successfully represented companies seeking restitution of their goods. I am currently instructed in an appeal to the High Court by way of Case Stated concerning condemnation of goods. I receive instructions in cases involving Health and Safety, Environmental Licensing, Trading Standards, Taxi Licensing, and Firearms Licensing. I have experience both prosecuting for the RSPCA and defending in trials concerning allegations of animal cruelty.
