ABOUT DAWSON FIELD
As a senior at Utah State University, I am passionate about using data-driven insights to solve complex problems and create meaningful change. My ultimate dream is to work in the sports industry, leveraging data analytics to inform decision-making and drive success for teams and organizations. I am currently a Data Enrollment Intern with the USU Admissions Office, where I analyze university data and build dashboards to help recruiters optimize their efforts. This role has allowed me to sharpen my technical skills in Python, Excel, and Tableau while contributing to the university’s enrollment goals. I also serve as a university ambassador, where I connect with prospective students and families to showcase the opportunities and values of Utah State University. This role has taught me the importance of listening, building relationships, and representing my institution with enthusiasm and integrity. As I approach graduation, I am eager to pursue opportunities in sports analytics and data-driven decision-making within the sports industry.
