   I am proud and honored to say I have served all but one of my substitute teaching assignments at Des Moines North High School. I was charged with providing support and working in partnership with teachers when they needed a guest educator. Not only did this position allow me to educate our youth, but it also allowed the students to teach me about what is important to them - respect, responsibility and accountability. Yes, the things adults want from students is the exact same thing those students want from us adults. I will always be thankful for my time at North High and yes.\"It\'s a great day to be a Polar Bear!\" 🩷
