About Dawn J. Fraser

Communications coach, storyteller and podcast host/ producer, who is passionate about working with individuals, advocacy based organizations and businesses to craft compelling stories and presentations. Combining my passion to utilize storytelling as a vehicle for both personal and professional growth, I founded a business called Fraser’s Edge, Inc, which offers programs specifically intended to utilize storytelling as a form of leadership, advocacy, presentation development and social change. The foundation of my coaching comes from 10 years as a Lead Instructor with an organization called The Moth, which is dedicated to the art of telling true stories, as well as a Master in Public Policy (MPP) from Harvard\'s Kennedy School in Government. One of the highlights in my career thus far was when I was selected to do a TED talk in 2013 called ’Re-defining What it Means to Win’. Those six minutes was not only my own way of sharing a personal journey that has shaped my values around issues of equality and inclusions, but also served as a way to show others how a \'story worth telling\' can lead to an ‘idea worth spreading’.

   Mentor students in the craft and process of developing audio podcasts including writing, interviewing, scripting, and audio editing. Includes the management of student teams in full production process.* Collaborate with the Managing Editor to help develop the award winning \'State of the Human\' Podcast * Give stand-alone workshops in story development and craft or oral storytelling.
