   Provide leadership for a staff of seven by identifying and guiding program opportunities, securing funding, and overseeing fiscal management. In addition, I provide strategic support for marketing and communications, and future program development while providing oversight of administrative functions. I am responsible for representing COMPAS within the community and building productive partnerships and collaborations. Report directly to an 18 member board of directors, providing information and expertise while facilitating board decisions and supporting 5 standing committees including a strategic planning committee. Key responsibilities include:* Lead business development activities that will attract new program and project opportunities. Lead initiatives that support our strategic mission to be the best provider of creative education in our community. Identify funding opportunities, investigate and scope project leads based on funders\' future initiatives as well as longer-term strategic plans at the federal, state, and local level. Identify opportunities to partner, leverage resources, or provide services that position COMPAS and attract diverse funding. Cultivate, solicit and steward major gifts.* Direct our fiscal management strategies.
