As House Manager I am responsible for courteous, efficient and safe operationsof all ArtsCenter performances. Serve as host and fulfill vital life-safety roles fora variety of ArtsCenter productions, including theater, dance, improv, sketchcomedy, and musical performances with excellent customer service skills The House Manager makes sure the experiencefrom parking to leaving the ArtsCenter is positive, fun, and memorable. Also, I am responsible for ensuring that the theater is clean and orderly before each performance.Being the House Manager I am responsible for the safe passage and conduct of the audience duringthe entire time that the audience is on the premises of the theater and determines when the house is ready to open to the audience. Along with all required tasks and responsibilities, I train the ushers to ensure that they are familiar with the venue, including all routes of egress, including coordinate with all staff and volunteers at each performance and make sure fire safety rules are respected, and communications are clear between all staff and performers.
