I previously chaired the Equality Committee, which aims to raise the profile and inclusion of, not just women, but all ethnic, racial, cultural or gender minorities within the IT industry.

Over 30 years of experience in senior leadership & board positions in the technology & telecommunications industries has given me deep experience in international business dynamics & operations.I served as a Regional Director for AT & T for 13 years, where, besides leading EMEA operations, I oversaw the establishment of the company’s Hong-Kong office, and was a key member of the team responsible for the sale of AT & T’s European business.Additionally, I held senior roles in other global organisations, and co-founded and successfully sold two technology companies. The most recent being the sale of Brigantia Partners Ltd, a cybersecurity business, which was sold to Elovade, a PE-backed, pan-European software distributor, based in Germany and operating in 6 countries.I have represented the Ward of Coleman Street as a Common Councillor since 2019, and have been re-elected to the position twice. I work tirelessly to listen to and advocate on behalf of the individuals & businesses in my Ward.I am deeply committed to the promotion of the City of London on both the national & international business stages. Hence, I actively champion Safe & Secure environments for both companies & residents, and support the ‘Destination City’ initiative, enhancing leisure & cultural facilities in the City of London.Strengthening digital resilience & governance within the City, and beyond, is a key focus of mine. Hence, I Chair the Fraud & Cyber Crime Reporting & Analysis Service Procurement Committee, responsible for delivering the new national Report Fraud system.I am Deputy Chair of the Digital Services Committee for the Corporation of London, having previously led it for 3 years. I am also an active member of the Police Authority Board and several other main committees.Additionally, I am a member of the Worshipful Company of Information Technologists, where I currently serve as a Court Liveryman.I am also a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Salters, one of the ‘Great Twelve’ livery companies, and a member of the Salters’ Institute, the Company’s charity arm.Furthermore, I am deeply engaged in civic leadership, education & community development. For 9 years, I served, on a pro-bono basis, as a Board member for the Harris Federation, and as Chair of Governors for the Harris Academy Bermondsey. I have always had a passion for strengthening STEM education, so that young people - particularly young women - are better prepared for pursuing careers in technology, science & finance.
