The Deliberate Operations Branch of the Current Operations Division is responsible for the conduct of operational analysis and studies in support of current National Guard Domestic Operations (NG DOMOPs).• Provide recommendations on planned and ongoing initiatives, operations and policies involving the deployment of NG personnel and assets in support of civil authority’s response to all hazards. • Applies knowledge of military strategy and operations planning, as well as a thorough understanding of National Guard capabilities and Joint concepts/Doctrine to support the operations of the Joint Force Headquarters (JFHQ) for the 54 States, Territories, and the District of Columbia. • On order, action officers deploy to support State JFHQ as OIC of a Joint Enabling Team (JET), to provide tailored staff support to the supported State and promote shared situational awareness with the National Guard Coordination Center (NGCC).
