My tenure at these organizations has cultivated my problem-solving and collaboration skills, emerging as my core strengths.While the majority of my professional journey focused on Contact Center Management, I ventured into Finance/Procurement to broaden my exposure and gain a comprehensive holistic understanding of the Microsoft business ecosystem. As a member of the Microsoft Procurement organization, I\'ve seized new opportunities that have contributed to my career development.Entering my 15th year at Microsoft, many inquire about my choice to remain with the company. The answer is straightforward: Microsoft fills me with pride. The company actively encourages employees to give back to their communities, evident in its consistent engagement with NGOs globally and locally. I\'ve actively participated in projects like providing free Wi-Fi to African refugee camps, establishing learning centers in the US and abroad, and launching a specialized tech support center staffed by individuals with disabilities to assist others facing similar challenges.In my current role, I am part of an exceptional team dedicated to supporting Microsoft\'s Sustainability initiatives, striving to achieve a 55% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 2030 compared to 2019. Before this, I oversaw Microsoft Procurement\'s anti-corruption and human rights vetting programs for suppliers, taking pride in contributing to both customer protection and the protection of people involved in the production of our products/services, upholding the Microsoft brand, and fostering trust with our partners.

   In my present role within Microsoft Compliance, my objective is to ensure that suppliers align with the standards set by our Supplier Code of Conduct. My current focus relates to our Sustainability efforts and this entails fostering robust collaboration across diverse business units to guarantee that our suppliers not only grasp the intricacies of our requirements but also have access to the essential resources to be successful. Within this capacity, I\'ve been instrumental in developing the sustainability compliance requirements for our suppliers, collaborating with various Microsoft teams to pinpoint opportunities for reducing greenhouse gas emissions both for our company and others. Moreover, I\'ve collaborated with our development team to create AI tools aimed at assisting both internal and external users in advancing our shared sustainability goals.Additionally, I have recently overseen Microsoft Procurement\'s anti-corruption and human rights compliance initiatives. This role not only requires navigating intricate legal and ethical terrain but also entails championing values that instigate positive transformations within our organization and those that we conduct business with. I played a role in crafting Microsoft\'s responses to reports under various countries\' supply transparency acts and drove the development of Procurement Compliance’s ongoing monitoring of entities at higher risk, ensuring compliance with international anti-corruption and human rights laws.
