ABOUT DAVIS FLORICK
Davis Florick is a special assistant for the Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Policy. Most recently, he was the number two author for the 2018 Nuclear Posture Review and 2019 Missile Defense Review. In his additional endeavors, Davis was a 2016 WSD-Handa Non-resident Fellow with the Pacific Forum. He is also a Junior Fellow with the Human Security Centre, a think tank based in London. Mr. Florick earned his master\'s degree in East-West Studies from Creighton University. He is also a graduate of the 2015 Nuclear Scholars Initiative with the Center for Strategic and International Studies. His foreign relations areas of concentration include, but are not limited to, East Asia and the former Warsaw Pact and Soviet Union. Davis has been interviewed, in print, by “Voice of America” regarding North Korean tunnels under the Demilitarized Zone and, on television, with “Consider This…” where he discussed the upheaval in the Ukraine.
